Every cast of this mage's work is a leaf: a record addressed by the hash of its bytes, the ones that held and the ones that failed alike. The leaves fold in pairs to one root; change a byte and the root no longer lands. The root is shown; what the leaves found is for members of the City. This is a PoAW chain, re-derived here in your browser. Pick an entry, then a leaf: the star in the corner draws its path, and the same pick carries to the Star, the Grimoire and the Sound.
The mage's quest: an adventure that turns into a guide. Every problem a mage takes on is a quest with a subdomain of its own: a promise anyone can check, and a knowledge graph of what the quest learns, readable by members, until the adventure turns into a guide for the next mage. How a quest joins the City →
The whole wave as one tree. Rounds run left to right; where a board exists, the round's holder is written above it. Each round branches into its entries, each entry one evidence root with its verdict and its hexagram, and under it the lever leaves counted by kind: held, measured and set aside, no-go, all drawn alike. Corrected and superseded entries stay, linked to what replaced them. Click an entry to fold it below; click a leaf dot to pick a leaf.
An entry's root is reached by hashing its leaves in pairs, level by level, until one hash is left. If the fold lands on the root the entry states, it holds. Change one byte of a leaf and every node from the leaf up is different, and the fold no longer lands. Walks here are silent; the Star draws them, the Sound plays them.
The chain grows in steps. Each step seals everything so far under one root; the next carries it and adds what came after.
The City's lattice: sixty-four places on a star tetrahedron. A hash lands by its first bits: three choose the house, three the place within it, six nudge it so neighbours stay apart. Position is the address and nothing else. Step roots are white, entry roots take their verdict's colour, an opened entry's leaves are the small dots. Click a leaf and its path to the root is walked across the star.
The chain written out. Every root and every leaf is named by its seal: its hash written as one word of 26 characters that reads itself back.
This page is a reader of the work, not part of it. It was generated from the root below and carries what it needs for you to check it here, with no account and no network.
score-beat/1 = {0 schema, 1 piece, 2 seq, 3 step, 4 voices (difference weight per voice), 5 drums (message words with a difference), [6 previous beat κ], 8 lane, 9 salt}. score/1 = {0 schema, 1 piece, 2 title, 3 voices, 4 beat κ in order, 5 final output weights, 6 lane, 7 group, 8 note, 9 salt}. Then ledger/1 over the scores and run-root/1 with the merkle root over every beat, score and ledger κ (leaf 0x00, node 0x01, odd node paired with itself). The shapes follow kappa-evidence-mage.
A hash is a beat. A fold is a walk from a leaf to the root; the chord resolves only if it lands. Below, the work played on reduced rounds, and the hash to play yourself.
One beat per entry, in mint order: the note from its root, the voice from its verdict, the weight from its leaves. It ends on the ledger root.
A leaf's path up the fold, one note per hash, the root last. Change one byte and the chord cannot resolve.
Real work on reduced , played as music. Pick a piece; open any note for the record behind it.
You hear it and see its shape: beats, each named by a κ (sha-256 and Poseidon) and chained into the root on the Grimoire tab. What each note was read from (the record, the run, the result) is held for the City. Members open every record, and the chain is how they check that what they read is what was minted here.

The quest written as nothing but its hashes: each entry's root in gold, then every leaf folded under it, lever leaves tinted by their kind. Turn it into seals or hashes; the star beside it places each one on the City's 64 states and glows with what you are reading. Point at a hash to see it whole.
Under each beat sits its κ, drawn as a hexagram.
Every score plays for everyone. The records behind each κ are for members.
